Dumpster Divers put Recycled Art on Display at “State of the Garden”
Wednesday, January 14th, 2009 | Uncategorized | No Comments
The Dumpster Divers are a group of artists from New Jersey and Pennsylvania that create art from items found in dumpsters.
“The artwork in “State of the Garden” ranges from a standing lamp made from a stack of decorative tins to a horse made from brushes and a child’s xylophone. A visit to the exhibit becomes a guessing game, as patrons try to figure out where each part of a wall hanging or sculpture came from. ”
